How to Facilitate COVID-19 Vaccination in India for Individuals Previously Vaccinated Abroad
Eligibility and Requirements
Indian Nationals
Indian citizens who have received COVID-19 vaccinations outside India are eligible to receive booster doses within the country. They must provide proof of their previous vaccination(s) and meet the eligibility criteria for booster doses.
Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals residing in India can also receive COVID-19 booster doses. They should present their passport, valid visa, and proof of previous vaccination(s).
Procedure
Step 1: Register on CoWIN Platform
Register on the CoWIN platform (cowin.gov.in) to book an appointment for vaccination. Provide the required details, including previous vaccination history.
Step 2: Schedule an Appointment
Select a nearby vaccination center and schedule an appointment for a booster dose.
Step 3: Attend the Vaccination
Bring your CoWIN registration slip, proof of previous vaccination(s), and valid identification to the vaccination center.
